I see that there is a new eye in the sky in Rockford. It is watching over the four-way stop. Maybe it is one of those automated mail-you-a-ticket setups for people that run the stop sign.
Maybe it is clocking speeds into the area so that they can make plenty of rumble strips.
OR maybe it is watching people circle for a place to park so that they can try the new coffee shop. I have it on good authority that the soups and chicken salads served are delicious. As far as coffee goes, I will reserve judgment. I am a purist and believe that if you value coffee, you will make it yourself.
So, a unique new business opens in Rockford, right where people stop anyway. I wish them well.
I enjoyed watching the Halloween festivities, but from afar. Maybe next year I will be invited. Or maybe someday this town will have a buzzard festival. To each their own.
In the meantime, I will be your loving eye in the sky. No traffic tickets from me!
