The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
I saw a slogan painted on the side of a big truck the other day, “Rise above politics for the holidays.”
What an admirable notion! Of course I am going to pick it apart here, but it was such a positive slogan that I will carry in my heart until the new year.
First, it was more than two weeks before Election Day. It is important that every one votes the week after next. It is also important to rise above politics and vote for people who will matter to the community. Tell the party system “pfft.”
Second, there is not a holiday for two more weeks after that. Enjoy your Thanksgiving. It is a separate event from Christmas, which is two months away.
Appreciate each holiday in turn. Don’t stress over a holiday season. Tell the marketers “pfft.”
Bill the Cat and I will be your eyes in the sky.
Love,
Buzzy
