More than 65 parents, students, staff, and community members came out to Central High School to volunteer their time getting Central High School ready for the new school year thanks to the Lake Martin Area United Way sponsored event. Volunteers worked on the landscaping, general cleanup, painting, and moving items. Pictured are Sam Lee and Sheriff Michael Howell setting up new lockers for the athletics department. We appreciate everyone who was able to come out and help; your hard work made a visible difference on the campus. Thank you to the event sponsors, Home Depot of Alexander City and Mrs. Beatrice Reichert, as well.
