The mission of the JAG program is to help every Alabama student graduate with opportunity, increase graduation rates and build a stronger Alabama. The JAG specialist at Central High School for the 2022-2023 school year will be Ms. Deborah Phillips whose office will be located in the newly re-opening Coosa County Career and Technical Center. Ms. Phillips attended the 39th annual JAG National Training Seminar to prepare for the implementation of the new program. Students in the program will receive training in leadership, employment skills, classroom instruction interventions, and job placement and counseling services in order to obtain post-secondary employment or education. The JAG program in Alabama boasts a 100% graduation rate among participants. You can find out more information about the program by visiting https://alabamajag.org.
