Dear Editor,
Thank you for updating the community on the dismissal of the charges with the front page story. I have been hesitant to speak out, but I feel it is important that I do. The allegations made against me were false and completely made up.
There is so much to this story that hasn’t been told, and I wish for the community to know the truth. I am a good man and an even better father who isn’t remotely capable of what was alleged.
Even with the dismissal, I still have a stigma within the community as a result of the allegations. My hopes are that the false report will be properly investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and for the person responsible to be held accountable for the unnecessary chaos, uncertainty, and fear she brought to Coosa County.
