This recipe is easy to put together and makes for a quick, tasty dessert for potlucks, busy weeknights and any occasion when you want a simple but tasty dessert on the table! Not only that, but you may also use other fruits of your choice instead of peach, making it a versatile recipe. Apples are another favorite to use in this dish!
Ingredients:
1 stick butter or margarine
1 can peaches and juice (2 cups)
1 c. sugar
¾ c. self-rising flour
¾ c. milk
Directions:
Put butter in pan in oven to melt. Mix flour, sugar and milk. Pour over butter; do not stir. Pour fruit over mixture. Do not stir. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees if using a glass pan. Enjoy!
