Sandra “Sissy” Williams Cooper
Funeral service for Sandra “Sissy” Williams Cooper, 58, of Goodwater, was Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Estelle Community Church with Rev. Mark Deason officiating. Burial was in Midway Memorial Gardens in Talladega.
Mrs. Cooper died Thursday, January 21, 2022, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emma Williams; grandmother, Bernice Williams; and grandmother, Ola Walton.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Cooper; daughter, Krystal Tomasson; brother, David Williams; two nieces, Kira Williams, Skila Williams; nephew, Daniel (Morgan) Williams; three great-nieces, Mia Callan, Crimson Sky Isabella Callan, Ariana Williams; two great-nephews, Grayson Williams, Oliver Williams; sister-in-law, Shelia Scoggins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Joyce Ann West Crowe
Funeral Mass for Mrs. Joyce Ann West Crowe, 75, of Equality, will be Friday, January 28, 2022, at 12 p.m. at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church in Alexander City. Father Thomas Gopu will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Stanton, Alabama, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.
Mrs. Crowe passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1946, in Safford, Alabama, to Raymond Lee West Jr. and Lula Mae Cleveland West. She was an active member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Joyce was a social butterfly. She loved visiting with others, telling stories and just having fun.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Anthony Crowe; daughter, Kimberly Goodwin; grandchildren, Alyssa Goodwin and Oury Goodwin; and her father, Raymond Lee West Jr.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Mae West; and daughter, Melissa.

Jimmie Joe Dunn
Graveside service for Mr. Jimmie Joe Dunn, 87, of Alexander City, was Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Alex City Cemetery. Rev. Scott Railey officiated. The Alexander City Veteran’s Honor Guard provided Military Honors.
Mr. Dunn passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Russell Medical. He was born on April 6, 1934, in Kellyton to Joe H. Dunn and Estelle Blankenship Dunn. He was an active member of Hillabee Campground United Methodist Church. Jimmie enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating high school. He served during the Korean War where he received the National Defense Service Ribbon. He was employed with the Alexander City Coca-Cola Bottling Company as warehouse manager. Jimmie is a member of the Lake Martin Amateur Radio Club; he enjoyed fishing, camping and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauline Denney Dunn; daughters, Debra Jo Causey (Lynn), Jean D. Myer (Perry); grandchildren, Jesse Patterson (Jana), Peter Myer, Andrew Myer; great-grandchildren, Gaven Haire, Vance Patterson, James Patterson; brother-in-law, Jimmy Denney (Janice); and special friend, Tim Mayfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Dunn; and grandson, James Joseph Patterson.

Travis E. Isbell
Funeral service for Travis E. Isbell, 76, of Sylacauga, was Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Estelle Community Church with Rev. Mark Deason officiating. Burial was in Estelle Community Church Cemetery in Weogufka.
Mr. Isbell went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Isbell; son, Dewayne Isbell; daughter, Tamela Isbell; parents, E.J. and Evelyne Isbell; two brothers, Charles Isbell and Bud Isbell; and a sister, Tiny Isbell.
He is survived by his three daughters, Marsha (James) Whitman, Shelby (Jason) Poe, Tabitha (David) Seritt; son, Andy (Tori) Isbell; three sisters, Mary Carr, Betty Meeks, Carolyn Reeves; four brothers, Jack Isbell, E. G. Isbell, Tommy Isbell, Earl Isbell; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by a special nurse aid who adopted him as her Paw Paw, April Garrett, and a very special caregiver that put his all into him and loved him, Terry Ingram.
Pallbearers were Carl Isbell, Charles Dewayne Ingram, Joshua Bevels, Timothy Patterson, Kevin Isbell, and Rodney Isbell. Honorary pallbearer was Charles Ingram.

Joseph “DoeDoe” Rhodes
Funeral service for Joseph “DoeDoe” Rhodes, 52, of Sylacauga, was Monday, January 24, 2022, at Estelle Community Church with Rev. Mark Deason officiating. Burial was in Midway Memorial Gardens in Talladega.
Mr. Rhodes died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Marlon Leonard Cooper; brother, Gary Martin; brother, Mike Cooper; and niece, Heather Roberson Epperson.
He is survived by his six brothers, Wayne (Brenda) Martin, Dane (Madelyn) Martin, Barry (Sandra) Cooper, Scott Epperson, Millard (Deborah) Epperson, Daniel Epperson; two sisters, Fern (George) Hurt, Ginger (Wren) Benefield; daughter, Ashlee Lowery; grandchild, Miracle Lowery; mother, Jean Epperson; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bubba Honeycutt, Josh Epperson, Saul Epperson, Paul Epperson, Tim Smith, and Rodney Griffith.
