Give me Liberty

As we recognize the end of the first year of the Biden presidency, we find ourselves in the midst of a new American Crisis.
There are currently serious supply chain issues, and inflation of costs has become rampant as the value of the U.S. dollar weakens even more than before, thanks in no part to mismanagement by our government in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
When the death toll had reached 842,000 on January 12, 2022, a CDC ensemble forecast predicted that 62,000 more people would die over the next four weeks. This, all despite mRNA “vaccines” and numerous “boosters” from several different manufacturers, all paid for by we the tax payers, that will neither prevent one from catching COVID-19, passing the disease on to others, or prevent potential death.
We find ourselves at almost 700 days since the 15-day plan to slow the spread of the coronavirus in the U.S. was first introduced. We are now nearly two years, two presidents, $6 trillion, into the “two weeks to flatten the curve.” These draconian preemptive measures have metastasized into authoritarian government overreach that eroded our civil liberties and didn’t even actually make us safer.
Career politicians have repeatedly demonstrated hypocrisy at all levels. They have sent our kids home, locked us up indoors and even closed the parks and beaches. They have demanded that we bow down to all mandates, whether it was curfews, masks, or even the vaccine.
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act; also known as the CARES Act of 2020; had already pumped $2.2 trillion of spurious currency into the economy, only to be followed by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which would pump another $1.9 trillion of freshly printed dollars into the economy.
The problem with this is that 40% of ALL U.S. dollars in existence were printed in just the last 12 months. There is a reason that counterfeiting money is illegal, because it devalues legitimate currency, and our own government just counterfeited its own money by printing trillions of dollars that are not backed by tangible assets. More dollars in circulation make each dollar worth less, as the actual buying power of our dollars creeps toward worthless.
Back when Biden took control of our nation last year, the national gas price average was $2.25 per gallon, and then immediately upon assuming office, Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline project. Shortly thereafter, with both the Colonial Pipeline cyber attack and rumors of truck driver shortages, we the people were faced with record-breaking prices at the pump, and the highest Christmas gas prices ever recorded in the United States.
More recently, when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki suggested that frustrated Biden supporters “have a margarita” as a way of coping with the current circumstances, Psaki was slammed from BOTH sides of the aisle for her tone-deaf advice (sure, start day drinking, it won’t seem as bad if you are drunk).
They say that history doesn’t actually repeat itself, but sort of “rhymes,” and this advice rhymes with the famous quip from Marie Antoinette of “let them eat cake!” Psaki also recently let out a Freudian slip in an interview with Joy Behar on the television show “The View” that she really loved “working for President Obamabiden,” leaving most with the take-away answer of whom is the one actually pulling Biden’s strings.
Just a couple days ago at a presidential press conference, when a reporter asked a question on the current inflation, Biden was caught on a hot mic calling said reporter a “stupid-son-of-a-#itch.” This in the same lack of cognizance from back in May of ’21 where Biden addressed the entire graduating class at the United States Coast Guard Academy’s 140th Commencement Exercises as “stupid b#st#rds.”
And now, there is a crisis on the border between Russia and Ukraine as Russia masses more than 100,000 of its troops on three sides of Ukraine. American officials say that Russian President Putin has the capacity to launch an invasion at any point, though they remain uncertain as to whether he’s made the decision to do so. In response, the U.S. government has ordered families of American staff members to leave Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and the U.S. State Department has advised that all private U.S. citizens and non-essential embassy personnel do the same.
Biden has also ordered 8,500 U.S. troops to be on higher alert to potentially deploy to Europe as part of a NATO “response force.” It is unfortunate that when a president’s policies begin to fail, they always tend to look for a war in order to distract the populace.
For just one year’s time, it would be hard to imagine so much havoc to be associated with just one person, but here we are. At this point, Biden can be considered a “lame duck,” as we can expect the voting public to flip the U.S. Congress back to “red.”
But in the end, all of this has been brought upon us because of the naive belief that there are only two political parties worthy of running our nation, despite decades of both parties enslaving the populace under the yoke of excessive spending to support crony capitalism, and to buy the loyalty of the voting public, all while eroding the personal liberties that our forefathers fought and died in order to guarantee to us as a birthright.
Both the Republicans AND the Democrats have failed us. Please consider voting for Liberty whenever the opportunity may present itself in the future…assuming that we still have a future to save this nation.
