Give me Liberty

It seems like that instead of this being 2022, that we find ourselves practically in George Orwell’s “1984”!
Inflation has been rising all over the world because of a combination of excessive monetary policy and supply chain challenges brought by the lockdowns. The large stimulus plans have only devalued the dollar. Labor shortages. Energy shortages. Food and fertilizer scarcity have elevated global food prices to a new record high, making it more difficult for the poor to navigate the crisis. Extreme wealth disparity. Flash mob smash and grab robberies. Stock, bond and real estate bubbles, and according to Bloomberg Economics, the global economy will likely grow in the next 10 years at a slower pace than in the decade prior to the pandemic. A stock market crash may or may not be imminent. But a mega collapse of the economy is most definitely in the cards.
They said that if we just put on a mask and stayed home for two weeks, we’d be able to return to normal. We are now starting our third year of “two weeks to flatten the curve,” but instead of things returning to normal, politicians have doubled down and added even more restrictions. You cannot fly on an airplane unless you can show proof that you’ve gotten a vaccine that doesn’t necessarily work, and you must wear a mask, that will not ever stop something as small as a virus from getting through.
ALL of this has been brought to “We the People” by BOTH the Republicans AND Democrats that were put into power by YOUR vote. … Albert Einstein has been attributed as defining the definition of “insanity” as “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
In the end, the mass of American voters; if not you, then your neighbors, co-workers, or family members; or even those that do not vote, have brought us a two-party system that has been accepted as the only option.
In a recent interview with Dr. Robert Malone (the inventor of the mRNA technology that is the backbone of the COVID-19 “vaccines”), Malone discussed the disturbing concept of mass formation psychosis, where fear and manipulation are used to drive a society mad in the service of a group of elites with an agenda. We saw it in Germany in the 1930s, and we are witnessing it again now. As Charles Mackay wrote in the 19th century about the madness of crowds, “Humans go insane in groups but recover one at a time.”
Libertarians have been described in the past as socially liberal, while fiscally conservative. This is mostly accurate, as we are fiscally “it’s your money” and socially “it’s your business,” but Libertarians are not simply a hodgepodge of disenfranchised Republicans and Democrats, we are liberators who seek to dismantle the gravy train built upon your enslavement via taxation.
It is time for something different. It is time for you to step up and be proactive in both local and national politics. It is time to let the old politicians go home and to replace them with someone new. If this next election you have a candidate that has been a politician for more than a decade, vote against them. Send them home.
Politicians are supposed to work for you. They are supposed to not waste your hard-earned tax dollars. They are not supposed to make a lifetime career of enriching themselves at your expense. Send them home, and vote in someone new, especially if that candidate has not signed away their soul for the benefits of the current two-party-only system.
It is time to stop doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. … And what better time than now to exercise your liberty, freedom and personal responsibilities, with this, the beginning of a new year. Vote differently, and vote as if your liberty was dependent upon that vote, because it is!
