The J.D. Thompson Alumni Association’s Shoe Giveaway was a success, and another giveaway will take place next week!
New ladies’ fall shoes were given away on Saturday, September 26, at the J.D. Thompson High School Alumni Building. We would like to thank everyone who came out to get shoes and the various church volunteers who picked up shoes to help distribute in the community and nursing homes.
If you know of anyone who is in need of ladies’ shoes sizes 5-10, please help spread the word that we are donating shoes to those in need.
Our “Shoe Giveaway” will be held again on Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The location will be the J. D. Thompson High School Alumni Association Building, located at 1854 Coosa County Road 93, Kellyton, 35089.
