The Gospel Truth
Rev. Michael Strong
The Bible speaks of a time and a season in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-3.
It reads, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build, a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot.”
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
There is a time of the year to plant crop, and there is a time of the year when to harvest our crop.
It is now time for us as a people to come together as a community of believers to do the right thing.
As we look around in our community and in our world, we see people are dying.
I know that the scripture talks about a time to die, but God is the one that has the power to call each one of us home.
We have allowed the enemy to interfere with God’s plan for our lives, and now we are taking matters into our own hands.
God said, in Jeremiah 29:11, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
We need to let go and let God work out the plan He has for our lives.
God doesn’t want harm to come to any of His children. He wants us to prosper so we will have hope.
It is time for the people of God to stand up and let their voices be heard all over the land and countries.
It is time to stop sitting back and allowing the enemy to take what God has given us.
Jesus said, “I come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
God has given each of us life, and we need to use what God has given us to give Him glory.
It is time to take the focus off of self, and focus on God the creator.
