Ernest Howard Culp
Memorial service for Mr. Ernest Howard Culp, 75, of Goodwater, will be Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Candler Mountain Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Nelson will officiate.
Mr. Culp passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1945, in Prattville, Ala., to Lester Leo Culp and Clara Bell Wright Culp. He was an active member of Candler Mountain Baptist Church. He was baptized by his son, Ricky, along with his grandson in 2016. He was an excellent cook and was a coin enthusiast. Mr. Culp had a great spirit about him even though he endured great suffering.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty Walker Culp of Goodwater; son, Ricky Culp (Judiet) of New Site; daughter, Tracie Culp Bliss (Eric) of Sunset, S.C.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Culp, Dege Vaughan, Brady Culp, and Claire Culp; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Culp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Lucy Moore
Funeral service for Lucy Moore, 78, of Sylacauga, was Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga.
Mrs. Moore died Monday, September 6, 2021, at Southeast Health in Dothan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Ruth Ogle; brother, Clyde Ogle; brother, Earl Ogle; brother, Billy Joe Ogle; and sister, Helen Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Moore; daughter, Daphne (Mark) Pettit; son, James E (Melinda) Moore Jr.; five grandchildren, Adam Pettit, Eric Pettit, Brooke McKinley, Jennifer Vasser, Trey Moore; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Cheryl) Ogle; and a host of friends and church family.

Lisa Kay Willis
Lisa Kay Willis, 54, of Ashland, died Monday, September 6, 2021, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Willis; daughter, Kayli Willis; step-son, Josh (Audrey) Willis; granddaughter, Lillian Willis; parents, James and Sue Boggs and Gary and Faye Melton; four sisters, Gerri (Bobby) Druckemiller, Selena (Kevin) Mobbs, Emma Melton, Mary Beth (Johnathon) Ingram; brother, Lindsay Boggs; and 12 nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at Center Hill United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021.
