Reason to rejoice
Psalm 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Every morning that we rise from our beds is a day of rejoicing.
But there are days when the last thing we want to do is rejoice.
When you don’t feel like rejoicing, what we need to do is tell God how we feel. God will give us reasons to rejoice.
If God had not dispatched His angels to stop at our home, we would not be here.
This is a day of rejoicing because God allowed us to wake from our sleep to see a new day.
Too often we take for granted the days the Lord allows us to see.
But despite the things that we encounter in a day we still should rejoice because of God’s blessings.
God has given us everything we need, but yet we still can’t see a reason to rejoice.
We have eyes to see, ears to hear, and a mind to think.
Each day that the Lord allows us to see is a blessing, and therefore we should have a reason to rejoice.
If we would rejoice in the Lord at all times, His praises will continually be in our mouth.
If I were you today, I wouldn’t miss this opportunity without giving God the praise He deserves.
Without the Lord holding us in His hands, we wouldn’t be here today.
So, rejoice in the Lord, again I say to you rejoice, because we have a reason to rejoice.
