Being considered by God
Job 1:8 reads, “Then the Lord said to Satan, ‘Have you considered my servant Job?’”
Job was an upright man, and he stayed away from evil. He trusted God with everything he had.
Remember he said that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Before then no one could touch the children of God.
Satan said to the Lord, why shouldn’t he be devoted? You have given him everything he could ever want: “But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.” God gives Satan permission to ruin Job’s life.
Job stayed faithful to God even though he had suffered great loss.
In this life we will suffer because Satan has been given permission from God to do harm to us.
We have been considered by God to go through the troubles of this world.
So, when we go through troubled times just be assured that you are being considered by God.
Like Job he kept the faith, and he did not waver from his belief.
We must take an example from Job when tragedy comes our way.
I Corinthians 10:13 teaches us that here hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man.
But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Whenever we as children of God go through troubled times, just remember you have been considered by God, and you will be victorious in the end if you stay faithful.
Because of Job’s faithfulness he received back everything he lost and more.
So, stay faithful to God, and He will deliver you like he did Job.
