Heal our land
According to the Bible our world became infected with sin. The Bible says in the book of Genesis 2:8 that God placed Adam in a special place. This special place is called the Garden of Eden.
God gives Adam the first simple law, don’t eat this particular fruit. The penalty for violating this law is death.
After God has established His law with Adam, God then creates a wife for Adam. She was not created from the dust of the earth, but from Adam’s side. Adam then gives her the name Eve and tells her God’s law.
They were the only two people on earth, having a long life ahead of them. They were one flesh, knowing God and yet knowing no sin. Sin did not exist in the world until Eve had an encounter with Satan.
Satan convinced her that she would be like God.
It is said that sin entered the world through Adam, and now our world is infected with sin.
And because of Adam’s sin, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
So, my prayer today is that God will heal our land before it’s too late.
I have found that the only solution to healing our land is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. It reads, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
I don’t know how you feel about our land (world), but I see that our land needs healing. Once our land has healed, our world will be a better and safer place to live.
