Thomas Dale Anderson
A memorial service for Thomas Dale Anderson, 75; of Winston-Salem, N.C., and formerly of Alexander City; will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson and Rev. Bobby Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Anderson was born on September 15, 1945, in Alexander City to John T. and Helen Anderson. Dale loved Alabama football, gospel music and old country music. He enjoyed classic cars and attending car shows. Dale was a very social person and loved to talk with anyone he encountered. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Linda B. Anderson; daughter, Sherri Andrews (Ernie); sons Chris Anderson (Tara) and Ricky Anderson (Jenny); grandchildren, Andy Andrews (Morgan), Elijah Andrews, Molli Andrews, Matt Anderson, David Anderson, Marie Anderson, Rachel Anderson, Maggi Anderson, and Abbi Anderson; great-grandchildren, Emma and Kade Andrews; sister, Elaine Forbus (Mickey); and niece, Cindy Balint.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

James Holley
Funeral service for James Holley, 65, of Rockford, was Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Bro. James Brown officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Weogufka.
Mr. Holley died Monday, June 7, 2021, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Holley; father, Arthur Holley; sister, Nadine Robinson; and granddaughter, Lily Chambless. His family was his everything and he loved his girls dearly and loved the outdoors. Mr. Holley worked at Avondale for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 45 years, Debra Lynn Holley; three daughters, Marie (Scott) Smith, Brandi (Joel) Childress and Jamie (Rickie) Chambless; sister, Velma (Steve) Martin; five grandchildren, Holley Smith, Amanda “Red” Tucker, Bailey Childress, Jace Childress, and James Chambless; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Scott Smith, Joel Childress, Rickie Chambless, Mickey Robbins, T. J. Robbins, Jeremy Jacks; and Josh Culver.

Mary Lou Kelley
Graveside service for Mary Lou Kelley, 95, of Goodwater, was Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Greenview Cemetery in Goodwater. Craig Vinson officiated.
Mary Lou passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Goodwater Healthcare Center. She was born on April 18, 1926, in Goodwater to Barnett C. Jinks and Amy L. Hayes Jinks. She was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church. Mary Lou retired from Russell Corporation after 35 years of service. She loved taking care of her family and always put everyone else first before herself. Mary Lou also enjoyed cooking and growing flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Kelley (Linda) of Goodwater and Randy Kelley (Sherrie) of Hanover; grandson, Jason Kelley (Tonya); great-granddaughter, Payton Kelley; and sisters, Violet Lees and Marilyn Jinks.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James B. Kelley; parents; and sisters, Ruth Sells and Sue Jinks.

Peggy Nell Lawhorn
Ms. Peggy Nell Lawhorn, age 64 of Southside, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her residence.
Graveside service was Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Fuller officiating. Kerby Funeral Home directing
She is survived by two daughters, Daphine Queen and husband, Shane, and April Justice Jones and husband, Whitt; two grandsons, Zach Queen and fiancée, Faith, and Hudson Jones; two brothers, Wayne Lawhorn and wife, Barbara, and Richard Lawhorn and wife, Peggy Sue; two sisters, Elizabeth Jones and husband, Lee, and Karen Lawhorn; sister-in-law, Judy Lawhorn; two special sons, Ben Tinney (Sydney) and Jed Tinney (Stephanie); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by parents, S.W. and Jimmie Lou Lawhorn; two brothers, Jimmy Lawhorn and Phillip Lawhorn; and sister, Shirley Lawhorn.
