The Gospel Truth
Rev. Michael Strong
God’s wrath
We live in a world that is filled with violence, crime, and hatred.
This is not the way of God.
God created us to live in love and harmony, but somehow we have lost the way of God.
In the Old Testament time, the world was filled with violence, crime, and hatred, and it is running rampant through our communities, cities and towns.
Then there was the man Noah who was sent out by God to preach to the people, telling them of God’s power, and of the destruction that was to come upon the earth.
God’s wrath was directed towards sinners. His wrath is poured out on the people of Noah’s day by the waters of the flood, but Noah and his family are rescued.
The world and all that was in it perished from the flood, but next time the world will be destroyed with fire and brimstone.
Time is repeating itself, and I am very afraid that God is going to send His wrath once again upon the earth to destroy because of the sinful nature of man.
John 3:36 reads, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
So, we as messengers of God, like Noah, are sent out to warn all people of the coming wrath of God.
This wrath is referring to God’s response to man’s disobedience.
Or you may say that it is an angry response on God’s part to human disobedience.
According to the book of Jeremiah 32:17, God’s wrath is to be feared because he is powerful enough to do what he pleases to those who are disobedient.
The time is now to get right with the Lord before His wrath is released upon the earth.
I pray that we will all be ready before it’s too late.
