Rehobeth United Methodist Church on Coosa County Road 18 will hold its annual Homecoming on Sunday, May 23. The singing group, Spoken For, will begin singing at 10 a.m., and church services will start at 11, with Rev. Sheldon Hutcherson as our guest speaker. We will have a covered dish lunch after services. Due to current health concerns, masks and hand sanitizer will be available if desired. Please join us and enjoy “coming home” again. Live in faith, not fear.

Poverty to Progression: Leadership Conference 2021 will be held July 23-24 at The Sanctuary in Sylacauga, located at 46639 U.S. Highway 280. Host: Bishop Demetrius Griffin. Guests include Pastor Eugene Brown, Marquita Leonard, Denise Cook-Godfrey, Imo Holstick, Bishop William Murphy, Tominko Kelley, King Tall T, Bishop Jacqueline McLemore, Alexis Hope-Davison, and Matthew Hobson. Doors open at 8 a.m. and event starts at 9 a.m. each day. Conference admission is $40 each for adults, $20 each for ages 11-17 and free for ages 0-10.
