The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
I personally do not know of anyone who has had polio. Same with smallpox, cholera, anthrax, diphtheria, you name it.
Advances in medical science, like sanitation and vaccinations, have largely eliminated these diseases. Measles is rare; so is tetanus. Science has been applied with purpose.
The reason we should get annual vaccines for things like the flu and COVID-19 is that these viruses mutate and form new strains. New vaccines are available. Take them!
I have had so many friends get sick lately that I have been keeping away from humans. If we learned anything from the great outbreak of 2020, it was: keep clean, avoid crowds, and stay home if you are sick.
Keep healthy, Coosa.
Love,
Buzzy
