Elections 2026: Vote wisely

So, we are looking at elections in 2026, and some commissioners are already posting qualifications for their would-be replacements. I want to share a few things to consider when choosing a candidate.
Buzzy is not political. He believes in serving the community before bickering over party ideology.
Buzzy likes to get along with others. Do you recall that the Utilities Board spent hundreds of thousands in customer money to move out of Town Hall?
Buzzy believes in maintaining the roads all the time. Potholes that started in July on County Road 107 were finally fixed after the start of hunting season. Road work in Weogufka was done following a “lil’” storm of social media.
Buzzy knows how a one-way street works. Despite the town’s mighty efforts, my sources at the News tell me that people go the wrong way on School Street daily.
Buzzy has a long memory. He remembers Coosa 2000, and maybe Coosa 2010. Was there a Coosa 2020? The results are about the same.
Buzzy has a sense of humor. When the T-shirts debuted last summer, he got the joke!
Use your vote wisely. Effect leadership.
