After having lost the previous Friday against Lanett, Central of Coosa County was happy to have turned things around last Friday at home.
They came out on top against the LaFayette Bulldogs by a score of 26-13. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 48-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Central of Coosa County pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40 points over those games.
