Hugh S. Scroggins

 

Hugh S. Scroggins, age 82, of Goodwater, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Hugh is survived by his wife, Elaine Scroggins; daughters, April Porch (Brad), Christi Jones (William); grandchildren, Cole Patterson (Cierra), Charleigh Grice, Cole Porch, Emily Porch, Mason Porch; and siblings, Charles Moody Scroggins and Evie Davis (Dale).

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Romie Scroggins; and siblings, Bonnie Grace Schrader, and LJ Scroggins.

A visitation for Hugh will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sylacauga Church of Christ, 200 S. Broadway Ave., Sylacauga, 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

Hugh will be laid to rest in Hollins Cemetery, Valley Grove Road, Hollins, 35072.
