Dear Editor,
“Thoughts on the Upcoming Independence Day” is well written, relevant and encompasses the past, present and future. Richard Dean, you need to be writing more columns, as they are road signs. They show where we came from, where we are now and where we are going if we don’t stay on the path to freedom.
The world doesn’t owe us freedom, and it won’t be forthcoming without dedication and hard work to a collective cause. I’ve heard pastors relate how often Jesus talks about money in the Bible, but the Bible, our ultimate life manual, is not about money, wealth, the gaining thereof. It is about life.
