Albert Wilson “Bud” Ivey Jr.

Albert Wilson “Bud” Ivey Jr. was born on July 11, 1950, to Albert Wilson Ivey Sr. and Ruenette Litaker Ivey in Rockford in Coosa County.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumpka with Minister Brent Missildine officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Betty Ivey, Barbara Jo Robertson, and Peggy Hodge.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Robbie Ivey; sons, Will Ivey (Michael), Rodney Ivey (Veronica), Ethan Ivey (Rachel); daughter, Shannon Grier; grandchildren, Samuel Ivey (Breanna), Hollie Grier, Dawson Grier, Haven Ivey, Hogan Ivey, Margo Ivey; great-grandchildren, Sophie Ivey, Theodore Ivey; bonus grandchildren, Tamara, Dylan, Taylor, Gavin, Kaydyn; bonus great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Wyatt, Madelyn; sisters, Mary Ann Thompson and Pat Nelson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
