Congratulations to our oldest granddaughter, Deja, on earning her master’s degree in physician’s assistant studies!
Christale Tuck and son Jaden Tuck have the most wonderful togetherness mother-and-son relationship. Coosa and Tallapoosa counties love them both. We are one big family.
Christale was named Woman of the Year Community Champion at the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce Lead Forward Women’s Conference and Business Expo. She has made an impact on others in the community, from being an involved educator at Jim Pearson Elementary School to directing and acting in plays with Alex City Theatre II.
Tuck gives back to the community in so many ways, and her son, Jaden, is currently the career readiness and workforce development director for the Alex City Chamber of Commerce and is seeking election to the City Council. He seeks to be the youngest city councilor.
Connection is the foundation of our human family. Spiritually we are all family. As spiritual family we are inseparable. We are all connected to the same source by the rhythm of breath. We can be different and still be a family, but we must still include them in the family circle.
Blood may be thicker than water, but it is the water of life that will keep us connected.
Congratulations to our oldest granddaughter, Deja! She has made us proud again. She received her master’s degree in physician’s assistant studies and is working already. We are very proud of our young lady, granddaughter Deja. May God continue to bless her!
Some weeks ago Lady Mandy Hill’s father, Minister Roland, preached a powerful message. “Using the Power God Gives Us” was his topic. We must move beyond the mindset of powerlessness. Some adults find every reason to blame others for their downfall, their powerlessness to do right, as long as they can find someone else to blame for anything they are doing. You cannot be held accountable or responsible for your growth or the lack of it.
Little children do not blame others. They do not concern themselves with all the problems in the world. They seem to believe that somehow, some way, everything will be fine, and for them it is. They do not have philosophical ideas, political positions, or principles to uphold. They know what they know, they accept it, and they never try to convince you that what they know is real.
They are not hung up on styles, profiles, positions and postures, power or powerlessness. Children have no reason to blame anyone. Yet we believe children don’t know, can’t do, shouldn’t have, can’t be, and won’t make it without us.
We adults must remember we are always children of God. Let us be children today and use our power and build our mind, soul and spirit. We must stop blaming everyone else for our current condition in the world.
Happy birthday to a very special lady, Elder Stephanie Fields, and wishing her many more blessed ones to come.
Let’s pray for former President Joe Biden and our country.
“When something is real it’s forever.”
