Shirley Jean McCollum

Memorial Service for Mrs. Shirley McCollum, 77, of Camp Hill, will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Saugahatchee Assembly of God.
Shirley Jean Chambers McCollum passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at her residence. Born on February 9, 1948, in Polk County, Ga., she was a woman of great faith, spirit, and kindness. She was a faithful member of Saugahatchee Assembly of God. Shirley was married to her husband, Charles Floyd McCollum, for almost 50 years, and together they created a life full of love, memories, and adventure. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. She will be missed, but her loved ones will have frequent reminders of the love she gave so freely.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Leland (Shelia) Avery Jr., Charlie McCollum, Rodney (Jeannie) McCollum, Shayne (Paula) McCollum; grandchildren, Landon, Justin, Jeffery, Lydia, Mersadies, Shiree; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ryleigh, Callie, Derek, Drake; and sisters, Sandra Hamby and Barbara (Jimmy) Sellers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles McCollum; daughter, Susan Diana McCollum; and brother, “Buddy.”
