Laura Ann Deloach Coleman
Our precious mama and me-maw went to be with our Lord on January 25, 2025.
She was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. She served her Lord and community, always helping out someone in need. She worked in the school system of Coosa County for many years. She will be greatly missed, but what a blessing to know she is in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by father, John T. Deloach Sr.; mother, Ida B. Deloach Vickers; husband, Daniel K. Coleman; son, Danny K. Coleman; son, Benny T. Coleman; grandson, Daniel Adam Coleman; sister, Dorothy Gillum; sister, Peggy Umberhandt; sister, Sadie Sosebee; brother, John T. Deloach Jr.; and brother, Earl Deloach.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Melinda Palmer (Albert); granddaughter, Catherine Coleman; granddaughter, Whitney Hampton (Seth); grandson, Zachery Coleman; and granddaughter, Lindsay Palmer. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brooks, Grayson, Holden, and Millie.
A visitation for Laura was held Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, Sylacauga, followed by a funeral service with Bro. Donald Grice and Bro. Tommy Thornton officiating.
Laura was laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, 35150.
Serving as pallbearers were Zachery Coleman, Donald Morris, Andy Tucker, Steve Deloach, John Deloach, and Seth Hampton.

Sara Ellen London

Sara Ellen London, age 92, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025.
Sara is survived by her daughter, Patricia Courtney (Carl); son, Richard Kevin London; grandchildren, Joseph Michael London (Jennifer), Sean Jerrome Courtney (Brent), Jocelyn Marie London, Amanda Leigh McCollough (John); 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl “Sandy” Smith (Sue).
Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Billy London; sons, Billy Larry London, John Paul London (Kay Andrews); parents, Uel and Ruby Smith; and brothers, Lindsey “Smitty” Smith and Donald Smith.
She enjoyed gardening and outdoors, but more importantly her family.
A graveside service for Sara will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, 35115.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony London, Ricky London, Jimmy Reynolds, Sean Courtney and Carl Courtney.

Gloria June Ward
Gloria June Ward, a resident of Rockford, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at the age of 81.
A graveside service was held Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Ward Family Cemetery with Rev. Charles Box, Rev. Paul Shaw, and Rev. Andy Dickson officiating. Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, T.R. and Lorene Stone, and her brother, Ray Stone. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gary Wayne Ward; children, Wayne Ward (MaLisa), Roxanne W. McNeil (Eddie); siblings, Carolyn Barrett, Sylvia Ward; grandchildren, Nicole Clark (Thomas), Hunter Ward (Sarah), Adreyan Avila; great-grandchildren, Kyson Clark and Kaiyah Clark.
Pallbearers were Hunter Ward, Thomas Clark, Brandon Barrett, Charles Labriola, Phillip Box, and Dave Stone.
