Dear Editor,
Well, Coosa County, it’s almost time again to vote for your favorite person for county government. I’m asking you to think really hard about your vote.
Ask yourself, am I voting for my neighbor or my kids… what’s best for our county, or voting for the same old thing?
I’m going to give you two words from the Redneck Dictionary… ”Clique” – this is when one or more people control something and others just go along with what’s happening. It’s sort of a protection group.
Next word is “Nepotism”… well, how best to describe this… when dad is in a form of county government, brother-in-law, son-in-law are, as well, then possibly the son if elected… Wow!
Coosa County had a family at one time pretty much running it… Remember we lost all of our schools to consolidation.
