Alabama Republican Party Chair John Wahl offered words of thanks and praise to Gov. Kay Ivey for her support of School Choice at the Republican Party’s Winter Meeting.
“I would like to thank Gov. Kay Ivey for her work on and support of School Choice this session. We needed leadership on this important issue, and I am proud that she is taking up the battle and leading on one of the most important issues facing our families. It is high time to return control of education to our parents where it belongs. Both Gov. Ivey and I want to see Alabama leading the nation on the issue of education freedom. No child’s quality of education should be decided by where they live. We can do better, and we should do better for the children of Alabama,” said Chair Wahl.
