On Wednesday, Sept. 16, at approximately 10:45 a.m. special agents assigned to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Metro Area Crime Suppression (MACS) Unit were actively patrolling in the area of Monticello Drive in Montgomery when officers heard gunfire nearby.
Special agents converged to the area and located a male subject who reported that a female in a white Nissan Altima fired a gun at him. MACS then located the vehicle in the 5000 block of Monticello Drive and made contact with four subjects. A search revealed three firearms.
Erica Davidson, 35, of Montgomery, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. Davidson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
Douglas Rogers, 50, of Huntsville, was found to be wanted for a probation revocation warrant and was wanted for questioning by the Montgomery Police Department in reference to two other shootings.
Rogers was out on bond for first-degree robbery and was subsequently charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm and was transported to the Montgomery Police Department for further investigation.
Nothing further is available as the investigation remains ongoing.
