The Coosa County Soil and Water Conservation District will host “Conservation in Coosa County” on Thursday, September 10, at The Old Rockford School, located at 8840 Coosa County Road 18.
Coosa County landowners can meet with agriculture, conservation, forestry, and wildlife agencies to learn about available programs and services.
Invited agencies include Alabama Forestry, Alabama Wildlife Federation, Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, Coosa County Cattlemen’s Association, Coosa County Extension, Coosa Valley RC&D, MTM Environmental, USDA Farm Service Agency, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Coosa County Conservation District.
