This week U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) attended the grand opening of Auburn University’s Applied Research Institute in Huntsville.
The new 90,000 square-foot facility will be helping equip the next generation of engineers, scientists and technicians to solve national security issues and will help support space innovation and exploration.
The facility is home to a one-of-a-kind space electronics testing capability, as well as other advanced manufacturing and rapid prototyping abilities.
The construction of this state-of-the-art facility helps ensure Alabama remains the premier hub for our nation’s defense and aerospace infrastructure.
