A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. Monday, April 20, has claimed the life of a Sylacauga man.
James R. Jones, 32, was fatally injured when the 2019 Kawaski Z650 motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck several trees. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 21 near the 214-mile marker, within the city limits of Sylacauga, in Talladega County.
Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
