Chief Deputy Scott Hammond reported that a Coosa County man was arrested last month on burglary and theft charges.
On March 14, a victim called the Sheriff’s Office to report items stolen from the Marble Valley area. The victim had video footage of the suspect at his property.
After reviewing the video, it was determined that one individual seen on the camera and possibly another individual in the vehicle were involved in the burglary.
One arrest has been made in the case to date.
Codey Adair Ezekiel, 38 years old, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree theft of property and fourth-degree theft of property.
Hammond reported that the stolen items were recovered.
Ezekiel’s total bond for all three charges was set at $32,500. As of press time he remained in custody at the Coosa County Jail awaiting trial.
