Seventh grader MaryAnn Ward is the daughter of Jessica and Jonathon Hogan and Travis and Devon Ward. MaryAnn has lived in Coosa County her entire life. She is a member of Sardis Baptist Church. MaryAnn’s favorite subject is math because it comes so naturally to her. According to MaryAnn’s teachers, she is quiet and respectful. She is always willing to help others with their work. She is definitely an asset to our school. MaryAnn has participated in four years of dance at Barbara’s Studio. She is also a member of the CHS volleyball team. One of her favorite extracurricular activities is hunting. MaryAnn’s future goals are to become a nurse with a specialty in orthopedics. MaryAnn is also an amazing big sister to her three brothers and two sisters. Congratulations, MaryAnn!

Eighth grader Caiden Gaddis is the son of Christopher Gaddis and Erica Robinson. He is a member of the Goodwater community. Caiden attends Marietta Baptist Church. His favorite subject is Ms. Belyeu’s math class. Caiden says, “Ms. Belyeu makes sure I understand what I am doing.” Caiden is a model student who is very respectful, helpful and well polished all around. Caiden works hard in all his classes, but has excelled in math so much that he works well ahead of the other students. Besides being an excellent student, Caiden is also a basketball player and member of SGA at Central High School. In the future, Caiden plans to attend the University of Alabama and start his own business. Caiden says, “If I ever become wealthy, I will donate to the school and help the community.” Caiden is such a wonderful person! Thank you and congratulations, Caiden!

Ninth grader Mallorie Feltman is the daughter of Chanda and Jarrod Washington. Mallorie is a member of the Bibb County community, but transferred to Central High School when her dad started teaching at the CCCTC. Her mother said it was the best decision they could have made; Mallorie has really grown and blossomed at Central. Her favorite subject is math because she understands it so well. Mallorie’s teachers say that she is always on time, helpful and respectful. She is a member of the Central High School band and basketball team. She always works very hard, and her grades reflect the effort she puts into her studies. Congratulations, Mallorie!

Tenth grader Amari Dawson is the son of Tiffany Dawson. He is a member of the Alexander City community. His favorite subject is history. Amari enjoys learning about historians and old facts. In his spare time, Amari likes to engage in photography. He also likes football and basketball. Amari’s teachers speak very highly of him. They say that he is helpful, respectful, attentive, always on time for class, and does whatever is asked of him. In the future, Amari would like to be an automotive engineer or work in the technology industry. Amari is very hardworking and persistent, and he makes sure he is always on the Honor Roll. He always does his best! Congratulations, Amari!

Eleventh grader Aniya Horton is the daughter of LaToya Wood and Jackie Horton. She is a member of the Goodwater community. She attends Paradise Mission Full Gospel Worship Center. Her favorite subject is math because it is fun, and it really gives her a challenge most of the time. She is always very respectful and positive. She is willing to help anyone who needs it. Aniya is a member of Central High School’s SGA, Key Club, Beta Club, Media Club, and JAG. She also is dual enrolled at Central Alabama Community College (CACC). Her future plans include attending Samford University. She would like to attend their pharmaceutical program. She states, “Finally, I will graduate with my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.” Aniya’s academic performance is impressive. She is currently on track to graduate with an honors diploma from Central High School and simultaneously graduate from CACC with her associate’s degree and additional certifications. Congratulations, Aniya!

Twelfth grader Michael Thomas is the son of Kaise Sarasa. Michael is from the Goodwater community. His favorite subject is math because he enjoys problem solving. As a student, Michael is very quiet, respectful and self disciplined with a near perfect attendance record. Michael recently volunteered as a student election poll worker attending election school in the evening and volunteering at the polls for 12 hours on Election Day. Michael is also a leader in the Pride of Coosa County band. After graduation, Michael plans to join a branch of the military and use his military benefits to attend college tuition free. Congratulations, Michael!
