On Monday, August 19, the Alabama Department of Corrections Easterling and Ventress K-9 units located and detained two trespassers on state property at Bullock Correctional Facility.
While tracking the trespassers, agents recovered contraband hidden in a potato chip can.
Suspects Xavionn Ahmod Truss and Terrance Rontae Green were arrested and placed in the Bullock County Jail. They have been charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband.
Truss, 24 years old, is from Oxford, and Green, 20 years old, is from Talladega.
The Law Enforcement Services Division investigation is ongoing, and further charges may be pending.
Bullock Correctional Facility is a medium level security Alabama Department of Corrections prison in unincorporated Bullock County, near Union Springs.
