Deja and her dad, Jamal, at her White Coat Ceremony. Congratulations, Deja!
When it rains it pours – sickness, accidents, hospitalization, death, etc. So many loved ones; including ourselves, church family, friends, family members, fur babies, and many others; are having their share of trials and sorrow. But God is still in control, and we praise Him for His mercy. He will never fail us.
Let’s hold on and continue to serve Him. I made up my mind a long time ago that I will serve Him as long as I have the breath He gave me.
We just lost a dear friend, Ms. Cynthia Burton, and it hurts. More on her after her home-going on Sunday.
We thank God for taking care of our loved ones while they were sick and in the hospital. Thank God for the doctors, nurses and all who took a part.
We thank God for Pastor Hill’s strength while dealing with a lot right now. Nobody but God can give him that strength to carry on. It reminds me of my former pastor Stanford Benson, who encountered hardship, as well, as both pastors have to deal with their wives’ adversities. But through it all they all are serving God to help build the Kingdom of God.
Prayer list: Pat Windsor, Patsy and Lena Johnston, Butch Hardman, Cathy Dennis, Aaron Riggins, and the family of Ms. Cynthia Burton.
Happy birthday to Lady Dorothy Benson, Sylvia Burton and all July babies.
Congratulations to our oldest granddaughter, Deja, at her White Coat Ceremony. We are so proud of you!
