A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, has claimed the life of a Lincoln man.
Anthony McCreary, 64, was critically injured when the 2016 Jeep Wrangler 4×4 he was driving left the roadway, struck the cable barrier and overturned. McCreary was transported to Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred on Interstate 20 near the 166-mile marker, within the city limits of Lincoln, in Talladega County.
Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
