On Sunday, June 23, Irene Beasley will celebrate her 103rd birthday by attending Bradford Methodist Church, where she has been a member since 1947, making her a member there for 77 years.
Over her many years, she has been actively involved in her community and church, where she taught Sunday School and led singing for many years.
Family and church are very important parts of Beasley’s life. She is one of nine children and was born in 1921 in Coosa County.
She has resided in the Bradford community, located near Kellyton, her entire life. She lives for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who all love her dearly. Beasley has three grandsons, one granddaughter and nine great-grandchildren.
Beasley’s family is truly appreciative of everyone who has taken the time to send her birthday cards to celebrate her birthday.
The family had hopes that she would receive 103 birthday cards in the mail, and she is on track to exceed this goal. She has always enjoyed receiving cards in the mail, and these are truly special for her.
