ARRESTS
On May 13, Sgt. Mike Rudd arrested Harvey NMN Wright, a citizen Alex City, on the charges of Grand Jury Indictment Attempted Rape 1st degree, Grand Jury Indictment Burglary 3rd degree and Grand Jury Indictment Possession of Marijuana. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $50,000 bond.
On May 14, Kristina Lea Elliott, a citizen of Goodwater, surrendered herself for a five-day court sanction in the Coosa County Jail. She has no bond.
On May 16, Lt. Bradgel Moon arrested Jerry Dewayne Delee, a citizen of Sylacauga, on the charges of Probation Violation – Possession of a Controlled Substance and Probation Violation – Receiving Stolen Property. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,000 bond.
On May 16, Gregory Lee Dunham, a citizen of Goodwater, was ordered to jail pending drug test results. He is awaiting sentencing and has no bond.
On May 17, Deputy James Dawson arrested Steven Darrell Marbury, a citizen of Goodwater, on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,000 bond.
On May 17, Sgt. Mike Rudd arrested Brian Alan Black, a citizen of Alexander City, on the charges of Failure to Appear in Court X 2. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $813 cash bond.

MARBLE VALLEY
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Varner Lane after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Deputies were unable to locate the subject.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Holly Springs Road after receiving reports of an abandoned vehicle. A report was taken and Big Mac’s towed the vehicle from the area.
STEWARTVILLE
On May 14th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. No report was needed.
On May 17th, Deputies responded to a vehicle accident on US-Highway 280. A log truck flipped over and was leaking fuel but there were no injuries. The scene was turned over to ALEA.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of property damage. A report was taken.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Murray Circle after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 74 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies were unable to make contact with the subject.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies were unable to make contact.
WEOGUFKA
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of a prowler. Deputies searched the area but negative contact was made.
HANOVER
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa Central School campus after receiving reports of a trespasser. Deputies arrived on campus but the trespasser had already left; a report was taken.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. There were no injuries and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. The motorist already had help on the way.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of animals in the roadway. A citizen with a trailer assisted the Deputy getting the animals to safety until their owner could pick them up.
On May 16th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 75 after receiving reports of Harassment. A report was taken.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Payne Road after receiving reports of a suspicious person. No report was needed.
MT OLIVE
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of Harassment by Communications. A report was taken.
On May 14th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies spoke with the subject and determined no report was needed.
On May 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 123 after receiving reports of animals in the road way. Deputies and a nearby volunteer removed the animals from the roadway and placed them back where they belong.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of Identity Theft. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
KEYNO
On May 16th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 71 after receiving reports of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
GOODWATER
On May 15th Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
KELLYTON
On May 13th, Deputies responded to Industrial Parkway after receiving reports of property damage. A report was taken.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 119 after receiving reports of Harassment. A Deputy was able to speak with the subject but no report was needed.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 280 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Luster Lane after receiving reports of Criminal Mischief. Deputies spoke with the home-owner, searched the area multiple times, but were unable to locate anyone.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving reports of a civil dispute. Subject left the scene prior to Deputies arrival.
RICHVILLE
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. The owner was located and no report was needed.
ROCKFORD
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office after receiving a request to file a report.. A report for Harassment was taken.
On May 14th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 231 after receiving reports of a commercial burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be false.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 22 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. The scene was turned over to ALEA.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to US-Highway 231 after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Deputies were able to assist the motorist with a flat tire.
COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP
On May 14th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 22 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 22 after receiving reports of Trespassing. The subject left the property prior to Deputies arrival.
EQUALITY
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 98 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 9 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle unoccupied, and negative contact was made with the owner.
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 259 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies spoke with the motorist and determined he already arranged help.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Cook Road after receiving reports of lost property found. Deputies were able to locate the owner and return the property to them.
RAY
On May 13th, Deputies were dispatched to AL-Highway 259 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. A report was taken.
On May 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 73 after receiving reports of Trespassing. No report was needed.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 317 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies were able to speak with the subject and no report was needed.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 73 after receiving a noise complaint. Deputies made contact and advised them to turn their music down.
LAKE MARTIN
