Each Student Government Association (SGA) member is required to plan and coordinate a service project of their choosing. In addition, each member has to volunteer at least 10 additional hours helping other members with their projects.
Ninth grade SGA member Kenyon Richardson chose to give the rails at the Central Gym a needed update. Last Saturday and Sunday, Kenyon and fellow SGA members Elijah Richardson and Torrance Kelley sanded the rails at the Central Gym and then painted the rails in Cougar blue.
Eleventh grade SGA member Reagan Cardwell chose to organize the storage trailer that houses decor for school events and holidays. Last Saturday Reagan and fellow SGA members Markee Goff and Kali Snell worked eight hours pulling everything out of the storage, took four truck loads of outdated and damaged items to the dumpster, and put together shelving units to organize the decor.
Thank you to all our SGA members who volunteer their time to serve their school and community.
