The Alabama Forestry Commission-Coosa County, Coosa County Extension Office and the Coosa County Forestry Planning Committee will host the annual free Tree Giveaway on Thursday, March 14.
Seedlings will be available for pick up at the Rockford Event Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. and going until all seedlings are gone. Come while they are available, as this is a “first come, first serve” opportunity. Seedlings are also limited per household.
Seedlings available this year include crab apple, persimmon, scarlet oak, white dogwood, redbud, and bald cypress.
