The Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council and its partners will be presenting a program concerning services and assistance the local USDA agencies offer.
The workshop will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the J. D. Thompson Alumni Association Building, 1854 Coosa County Road 93, Kellyton, 35089, located in the Cottage Grove community.
The program will include home improvement and repairs, new home purchase, community development loans and grants, conservation gardening, EQIP program, saving pollinators, forest health and wildlife, and other topics. Veterans may receive a higher reimbursement rate for installing conservation practices under the EQIP program.

Door prizes will be given away, including the grand prize of one 1.5 cubic feet of Miracle-Gro Garden Soil. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
