A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, has claimed the life of a Jackson, Georgia, woman.
Gi’kia B. Green, 23, the pedestrian, was fatally injured when she was struck by the 2004 Lexus ES330 driven by Pamlynn S. Montgomery, 55, of Alpine. Green was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 21 near Reinier Lane, within the city limits of Munford.
Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
