Accordia Health, in partnership with the Alabama Department of Public Health and Rockford Pharmacy, were thrilled to have the residents of Coosa County join them at an Open House last Thursday, November 30, at the facility in Rockford.
The event provided an opportunity for community members to explore the newly renovated facility, connect with medical staff and learn more about the collaboration to bring high-quality healthcare to the area.
“Delivering high-quality healthcare to Coosa County is more than a commitment – it is a recognition of the transformative effect that accessible and comprehensive healthcare can have on the well-being of a community. Our extension of services and collaboration with the Coosa County Health Department and Rockford Pharmacy is not just about addressing healthcare disparities; it affirms that every individual deserves the utmost in primary and behavioral healthcare, regardless of where they live,” said Tuerk Schlesinger, CEO of Accordia Health.

In addition to welcoming the Coosa County Health Department back to town, Rockford Pharmacy is now open and serving the residents, as well. Pharmacy services close to home ensures that individuals can easily obtain their medications, receive personalized advice and actively engage in preventive care, contributing to overall community well-being.
“We are excited to be part of the Rockford community and bring with us a commitment to make the health and well being of Coosa County residents our priority,” said Leigh Ann Armstrong, RPh, Rockford Pharmacy.
