For the third consecutive year the Central High School PTO provided an opportunity for students to show off their creative side by entering the annual pumpkin decorating contest. The student body and staff were then given the opportunity to vote on the entries via secret ballot.
Congratulations to the following winners: In the seventh and eighth grade division, Henley Stevens won first ($25) with her Cougar Volleyball, and Ansli Shone won second ($20) with her Granny Pumpkin. In the ninth through twelfth grade division, Alyssa Woodfin won first ($25) with Scream, Kelsey McLaughlin won second ($20) with Wednesday Addams, Reese Lee won third ($15) with Plankton, and there was a tie for fourth place ($10) between Azerrihunna Sears with her Minion and Brooklyn Lee (not pictured) with her Cheeseburger.
Mrs. Ware said, “Thank you to everyone who participated! We can’t wait until next year!”
