The Town of Rockford is hosting a free community event tomorrow to celebrate fall and the town’s improvements.
The event is described as being “fun for all ages.” Guests are invited to bring their lawn chairs so they can watch volleyball and gagaball matches.
The festivities will include a bounce house, pumpkin decorating contest, best pumpkin pie contest, and face painting, as well as volleyball and gagaball. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will also be available during the event.
Fall Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, October 28, at the Rockford playground, located at the corner of Nixburg Road and Jackson Street.
As a safety measure, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow near that intersection, the road will be blocked off before the Fielding Center, which houses the Board of Education and Department of Human Resources, for the event.
