Did someone put something in my coffee or am I just naturally as happy as, well, a buzzard sitting on a limb in the sunshine? I love fall.
The slob hunters have started “feeding the birds.” Keep at it! The game wardens have plenty of other things to do this time of year.
The weather is classic, cool and dry and not that sticky, August-lasts-forever stuff we often get. And there is a Fall Festival in Rockford this weekend. Read all about it in the News and come join the fun.
I have been interested to watch the potential Mexican restaurant build over the sidewalk to the edge of the U.S. highway to add more seating. But still don’t have any parking. Maybe they could have better used that space for “to-go” customers, but nobody listens to a buzzard.
