Miss Kelly Koncsul with the University of Alabama, Birmingham TRIP Lab presented to drivers education students, and then the students tested out the driving simulator. As indicated on triplaboratory.com, “This high-fidelity, fully immersive instrument designed by Realtime Technologies Inc. (RTI) is outfitted with a 2016 Honda Pilot featuring a fully functional steering wheel, throttle, brake, gear selector, turn signals, and dashboard.”
Thank you to Central’s drivers education instructor, Christopher Elliott, who coordinated this unique opportunity for our students to learn about driver safety and the dangers of distracted driving.
