Twelfth grader McKay Kelley is extremely helpful and hardworking. She is always respectful and helps other students when needed. McKay is a member of the Central High School volleyball team, Student Government Association, Key Club, Prom Committee, and Diamond Dolls. After high school McKay plans to study criminology at Jacksonville State University to become a criminal psychologist. What McKay enjoys most about school are the science labs and reading. Congratulations, McKay!
Eleventh grader Emily Thomas is very helpful and always comes to class on time. She is respectful and always ready to do her work. Emily is humble and has a beautiful personality. She is part of the Central High School Honor Guard. Her outlook on life is simple, yet invaluable – enjoy it day by day! Being able to see and converse with those she likes is what she enjoys most about school. Congratulations, Emily!
Tenth grader Daniel Weathers is extremely helpful around the school with teachers and fellow students. He is respectful and always does what is asked of him. He has proven to be a great student who gets along well with his classmates, yet does not mind questioning his peers when he believes their behavior is not respectful, but does so in a friendly and appropriate way. He meets visitors and adults with a firm handshake and leaves them with a good first impression of him and the class that he represents. He is always willing to step up and help with tasks and makes sure to speak to people in passing. What Daniel enjoys most about school is spending time with friends and getting a good education. Outside of school, Daniel enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and working. In the future, he wants to join the U.S. Air Force, retire after 20 years, and become a full-time firefighter. Congratulations, Daniel!
Ninth grader Aerial Green is a very conscientious student and a very respectful young lady. She is a role model to her fellow students. She always goes above and beyond to succeed academically. She also has excellent school spirit as a Central High School cheerleader and member of the Student Government Association. Aerial loves making good grades and aspires to be valedictorian of the Class of 2027. She hopes to get a full-ride scholarship to the college of her choice, and she has a strong belief that you can always make your best better. Congratulations, Aerial!
Eighth grader Jeffery Yates is a model student. He works very hard and has super high expectations of himself. He always strives to be the best. He is respectful and humble – two great qualities. Jeffery is a member of the Central High School band. He enjoys drawing and playing football, as well. Jeffery states that the most enjoyable parts of school are seeing his friends and his teachers. Jeffery has high hopes of one day becoming a musician. Congratulations, Jeffery!
Seventh grader Lillie Kimbrell is very bright, kind and respectful. She is a volleyball player and a member of the Student Government Association at Central High School. She also participates in dance outside of school and has been doing so for nine years. Lillie enjoys going to her science class the most. She stated, “It is the best class of the day!” Lillie absolutely loves the ocean and would like to study marine biology at the University of Alabama after graduation. Congratulations, Lillie!
